Nonlinear Bending of Sandwich Plates with Graphene Nanoplatelets Reinforced Porous Composite Core under Various Loads and Boundary Conditions

The nonlinear bending of the sandwich plates with graphene nanoplatelets (GPLs) reinforced porous composite (GNRPC) core and two metal skins subjected to different boundary conditions various loads, such as concentrated load at center, linear loads slopes passing through eccentric uniform trapezoidal has been presented. popular four-unknown refined theory accounting for thickness stretching effects employed model mechanics plates. governing equations have derived from Von Karman strain–displacement relationship principle virtual work subsequent solution by employing classical finite element method in combination Newton downhill method. convergence numerical results checked. accuracy efficiency confirmed comparing obtained those available literature. Furthermore, a parametric study carried out analyze type, conditions, porosity coefficient, GPLs weight fraction, geometry, radius on central deflections In addition, reveal that adopted higher order can significantly improve simulation transverse deflection direction.
